Missouri addresses the media

ALBUQUERQUE, NM--Missouri players and coach Quinn Snyder talked to the media after their morning practice. The Tigers will face Miami on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Guard Rickey Paulding
(on playing Miami)
"We think they are really good players. We just have to try to put pressure on them and make them shoot contested shots. We need to fo the best we can to defend them."

(on his team's struggles)
"Our team has really come along this season. We had a couple of really tough breaks earlier in the season. We had a couple of losses that we felt we should have won and we didn't play the brand of basketball that we needed to work on. Towards the end of the season we really progressed."

Forward Arthur Johnson
(on defending Miami)
"We need to challenge them. We need to play our style of basketball, our hard nosed style of defense."

Coach Quinn Snyder
(on his team)
"I am really proud of what these guys have done...I think these guys are comfortable now too...What's been challenging this year is for this team to find its own identity and not to accept the identity that was given to it or was given to it in the beginning part of the year and the early part of the year...We still have some deficiencies as a group that we need to work through. Ball handling is the most specific one. I think that challenge is there everyday and our kids are trying to beat it."

(on Miami)
"I a worried about Miami, because they are really good."
