A Quick Glance: Defensive Tackles

No position has been thinner that past few seasons than defensive tackle. If the Cats are to make a run at a bowl, then they will need the unit to step up. There is are finally bodies in place to make things happen.

Notes: Lionel Dotson was converted from DE after the injury to Phillip in the middle of the year. Smith originally signed with the Wildcats in February of 2004, but did not have the credits to transfer until Spring '05. Parker originally enrolled at ASU, but competed for Cerritos CC last year. Parker committed in the spring, but is part of the 2005 class. Tate was a FB two years ago, but moved to DT this spring. He was not on the team in 2004. He and Markovich are walk-ons. Fields may see time at DE as well.
