For Stepheson, it's been a long and successful summer. "I would say the summer was fun," Stepheson said. "I was trying to stay aggressive the whole summer and play hard. I tried to be the hardest worker, working on my game. I just tried every possession, especially at camp and tournaments. I tried to get it off the glass or run the hardest down the court."
Stepheson's goal for the month? "We're going to trim it down by the end of August to five schools. We'll take all five visits in September or October."
At this point, three schools can pretty much count on him visiting their campus: UConn, North Carolina and Arizona. That leaves two official visits up for grabs.
Meanwhile, in the midst of the process, Stepheson continues to work on his game, intent on getting better.
"I'm working on my post game. I'm lifting weights trying to get stronger in the post so I can stand my position in the post."
