Big JC Tackle Schedules Visit to Tucson

You can never have enough offensive tackles and that seems to be the attitude the UA staff is taking towards recruiting these days. They are back in the JC ranks looking for help and a player that could lend a big hand is Fenuki Tupou from Sierra College in Rocklin, CA. The 6-6, 325-pounder has scheduled an official visit to Tucson, December 10th.

Fenuki Tupou is originally from Center HS in Antelope, CA. He was a first team all-conference selection last fall as a true freshman. He will play again this year, graduate in December, and have three years to play two next spring at his college of choice.

Tupou claims written offers from Oregon, Cal, Washington, TCU, Nebraska, Arizona, and BYU. "My four favorites are Nebraska, Washington, BYU and Arizona," he said. "I am kind of leaning towards Nebraska right now.

"They have been my favorite college since I was little. I have always liked them and wanted to play there."

He has an official visit scheduled to Lincoln, October 8th.

His visit to Tucson will be December 10th. "I have been getting a lot of stuff from Coach (Tim) Kish. I like what I hear about the atmosphere there. The only thing is that it might be too hot."

Tupou says the Cats, Washington and Oregon are currently recruiting him the hardest.
