Arizona After Miller the Hardest

Lonyae Miller is one of the most physically impressive players around the nation this cycle. He has all the attributes you want in a running back. The only setback right now is that his grades need to come up a little, but he is well within reach. Miller and his father claim Arizona is showing serious attention.

Lonyae Miller has not yet received a written offer. "We just got done opening up a bunch of mail and looking through it," said his father, Lonyae Miller Sr. "We are a little frustrated with the process right now since he doesn't have any offers yet, but we know they'll come. Right now, he is just taking out all that frustration on weights and making sure that he is ready to show his worth on the field. We are just being patient."

Arizona is the school showing the most attention. "Most of our mail comes from Arizona," Sr. continued. "They seem really interested."

Junior chimed in, "I really like the atmospehere there, and the coaches. They really seem to care about me. The last time I spoke with Coach Canales he just told me to keep up the hard work and good things will happen."

The Millers are are also receiving mail from Utah, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Idaho State, and Colorado.

Kaiser has a scrimmage tonight versus Redlands East Valley, and then it gets the season underway with Rancho Cucamonga at Los Osos, next Friday.

Junior is trying to get right academically. "I have been working hard on my grades and got two A's and a B this summer in my courses. My core GPA will probably be up around a 2.6 now."

He scored a 1258 on the new version of the SAT.
