2007 post prospects

Talented big men will be a priority in the 2007 recruiting class. By the time the class of 2007 steps on campus, the Cats will be without Kirk Walters and Ivan Radenovic, while Fendi Onobun and Mohamed Tangara will be juniors. If the Cats do not land Lance Thomas, getting a pair of big men in the class is imperative. If Thomas does commit, then the Cats will still go after at least one big man.

Here are the top prospects for the Wildcats at center and power forward. These are by no means the only players the Wildcats are considering and there will certainly be other players getting consideration down the line.

In 2007 the Cats will have one senior (Bret Brielmaier), two juniors (Onobun and Tangara) and at least one sophomore (Jordan Hill) playing on the post. Getting at least one big time prospect will be a priority and with the diverse talent available the Cats could very well add two different types of players.
