With 10:57 left on the clock, freshman quarterback Willie Tuitama completed a 17 yard TD pass to Syndric Steptoe, moving his streak to 16 straight games played with a reception.

Nearing the end of the first half, Washington tried to move the ball down field. With seven ticks left on the clock, UW called timeout. Arizona then countered with a timeout of their own just before the Huskies were going to hike the ball.
Following the game the players and coaches all said this play was a huge momentum swing.
Syndric Steptoe's streak continued moving to 16 straight games played with at least one reception. His first reception this time came with 10:57 left in the first quarter, and resulted in a 17 yard touchdown throw.
The Cats wore the same uniform combination, red jerseys/blue pants, that they did last week. They are 1-1 in the color scheme.
With his first reception of the game, a 12 yard reception on third and four, he took over sole possession of number 15 for the best receiving season in UA history.
By the end of the game, Thomas found himself standing at #13 all time, one shy of tying Theopolis Bell who had 53 receptions in 1974.
He already has established the best freshman season in UA history for a wide receiver.
Freshman QB Willie Tuitama had a number of career highs tonight. He completed 22 of 41 pass attempts. Both of those numbers were career highs for the freshman.
Redshirt sophomore Anthony Johnson caught seven passes in the game today. That was a career high for him. His previous high was four.
PLAYING LIKE A FRESHMAN
Despite having a career high game throwing the ball, Tuitama had a two career lows fumbling the ball two times and throwing three interceptions in the game.
This season senior running back Mike Bell finds himself 165 yards short of gaining 1,000 for the season. In addition, he is currently fifth on the all-time UA list with 3,048 yards, behind Hubie Oliver who stands with 3,096.
Chris Henry came off the bench in the second half to spark the running game. The sophomore rushed three times for 31 yards.
Arizona snapped a two-game winning streak and a two-game win streak over Washington.
