From what we've seen, he is a little like incoming quarterback Tyler Lyon. Tall, athletic and possessing a great presence.
On thing to pay attention to is whether or not he will take his Mission. If he decides to take the Mission, that could change how teams recruit him.
The Cats top quarterback prospect may very well be Jarrett Lee of Brenham, TX. It sounds as if Lee is generally interested in the Wildcats and is looking at trying to attend the team's camp this summer. Wildcat coaches Mike Canales and Dana Dimmel were on hand this week at Lee's High School.
The third and final passer on the list is Teddy Schell of Barrington, IL. Schell is another tall (6-5) quarterback and has had an offer for some time. Despite being a Midwest product, Schell is looking at schools all over the country, including the west. Expect Wildcat coaches to pay him a visit in the next few weeks.
Tukuafu originally signed with BYU coming out of high school but went on his Mormon Mission before enrolling at Mesa. He's expecting to redshirt in an effort to graduate in December and be on a D-I campus for spring ball. He will have three and a half to play to play the three.
Kris O'Dowd is still wide open. Although a summer commitment could be forthcoming, he is in no rush to cut down his list. Arizona is definitely in the running but a lot could come down to how much he wants to leave Tucson after high school.
His battles with Everson Griffen were the story of last weekend's Scout.com combine in Los Angeles. We hear the two are actually pretty good friends and really enjoyed the battles.
Terrence Tolliver, the wildly athletic wide out, continues to impress us with his abilities on and off the football field. Not only is he a gifted football player, but he's pretty good on the hardwood as well. Now his father tells us that he won the state championship in the long jump with a leap of 25-4.
The Cats are also looking to the islands. Kaniela Tuipulotu holds seven offers right now. In addition to the Wildcats, Hawaii, Utah, BYU, Oregon State, New Mexico State and Boise State have offered. USC, UCLA, Texas A&M and Auburn have been in contact, with the Tigers sending a coach out to the islands.
Arizona coach Mike Tuiasasopo is expected to pay him a visit in the next few weeks as his school goes through spring drills.
