"When I went out there, their staff was friendly and loving," said Lucas-Perry told The Flint Journal. "They take care of their players and care about their players. I met with their alumni and love their alumni. Coach Lute Olson is like a wizard. He knows what it takes to win at that level and get to the next level. That's something I really admire."
The 6-3 combo guard impressed Wildcat coaches at the Wildcats' Elite Camp and he received a scholarship offer before he left town that weekend. He followed that up with impressive performances at the adidas camp.
He fills the void left by the de-commitment of Jerryd Bayless.
