Football schedule finalized

The Pac-10 finalized the 2007 conference football schedule and in doing so finalized the Wildcats' 2007 schedule. The biggest news is that the Wildcats will play a Thursday night game against Oregon as well as a later date for the "Duel in the Desert'.

Arizona kicks things off on September first with a road game against BYU. It is the only non-conference road game for the Wildcats.

The Cats also host NAU and New Mexico before the start of the Pac-10 season.

Maybe the most notable aspect of the schedule is the amount of time off the teams gets towards the end of the season. The Wildcats host UCLA on November 3rd and then don't play again until they host Oregon on Thursday, November 15th. They then get another 16 days off before venturing to Tempe for the season finale against ASU.
