Liberty (Brentwood, CA) High School Offensive Lineman Kyle Quinn has pulled the trigger and committed to the Wildcat program. He made the call earlier today while he was at a camp.
"I committed because of the people," Quinn said. "The people at Arizona are phenomenal. I liked them all the first time I met them."
Quinn is already the 10th commitment for the 2008 class for the Wildcats and is the second offensive front man as he joins Trace Biskin on the Cats front line. Quinn describes himself as a very athletic and strong player.
"I feel I am a smart player," remarked Quinn. "I play hard and I always play through the whistle. I always try and beat the guy in front of me. I also play basketball so I have quick feet and quick hands."
Quinn made an unofficial visit to the Old Pueblo earlier in the spring and from the start he was hooked on the town and the school.
"I really like the environment," he said of Tucson and te U of A. "In Tucson there are no pro teams so everyone likes Arizona. It is a great football community. I took my unofficial and everywhere I went there was nothing but U of A signs."
When asked how firm his commitment to the Wildcat Program is Quinn quickly answered, "I am done, I am with Arizona all the way."
Quinn is commitment #10 for the Arizona Football program and like a few of the other commitments, Quinn said that he met CB commitment Robert Golden at a camp and has gotten to know and like his fellow classmate. You can chalk another one up for the Cats and Golden, who hasn't even signed yet and is already paying dividends.
