Then Tuitama took over. He was 13-14 in the quarter and came up big repeatedly. The Cats cut into the lead when he hit Terrell Turner on a 33-yard bomb. He put the ball over Turner's left shoulder and the sophomore adjusted to make the tough catch.
Spencer Larsen forced a fumble and it set up the Cats next drive. The Wildcats took over at the Washington 30 and four plays later Tuitama found Mike Thomas on a two-yard pass to the right corner of the endzone. He found Thomas on the quick slant for the two-point conversion and the game was tied at 41.
Locker moved the ball, but the Huskies drive stalled and their punt went into the endzone. Tuitama marched the Cats 80 yards, capping things with a 27-yard pass to Thomas that saw Tuitama keep things alive with his feet until Thomas could get open.
Thomas had a fantastic game as well. He caught 10 passes for 165 yards and three scores.
