Abdul Gaddy Update

With the Coach Lute Olson situation lingering around the Arizona Wildcats basketball program, one can't help that with his leave of absence, and future in question, that fellow commitments to the program may be having second thoughts. However, with one player in particular, that's currently not the case.

Abdul Gaddy, a 2009 commitment and the West's top point guard, has informed WildcatInsider.com that he's still committed to the University of Arizona.

"As of right now, I'm still committed to the University of Arizona. I'm going to look into the situation more closely, but I don't think it'll change anything."

Gaddy mentioned that he's worked with interim head coach Kevin O'Neill in the past, and has talked to him a number of times since his commitment. Gaddy also mentioned that he likes the type of coach that O'Neill is, along with his ties to the National Basketball Association which are always appealing to young players.

WildcatInsider.com will continue to provide you with updates on Abdul Gaddy's high school season, along with his commitment to the University of Arizona.
