Cats land big time DT

Arizona football received some good news on national television. As part of the Army All-American game a big time defensive player put on a Wildcat cap signifying his verbal commitment.

Solomon Koehler is Scout.com's No. 8 overall defensive tackle and a four-star prospect. As of today he is also an Arizona Wildcat. Koehler chose the Wildcats over Hawaii, Oregon State and San Diego State among others.

"I'm going to Arizona," Koehler said during the second half of the game in San Antonio. "I'm a Wildcat and I am going to play for Coach Stoops."

The 305-pounder from Castle High School in Kaneohe, HI is a big bruiser, who is also athletic. With the graduation of Lionel Dotson and Yaniv Barnett, there is immediate playing time available. He will compete with fellow Hawaiians Mana Mikaele and Kaniella Tuipolotu for playing time along with junior Donald Horton and redshirt freshman Hans Phillipp.
