Arizona is still trying to find a running back to fill the void left from the decommitment of Ryan Bass. They hosted one of the best players on the West Coast, but could they pry him away from a Pac-10 rival?
Venice HS running back Curtis McNeal
has been committed to USC
since last March, but despite a public affirmation of his commitment to the Trojans, tripped to Tucson anyways. The Cats hosted the 5-6 running back over the weekend, but it does not appear it was enough to pry him away from USC.
According to sources close to the McNeal family, Curtis is set to remain a Trojan.
McNeal is rated by Scout.com as the #33 running back in the nation and a four-star recruit.
Arizona currently has a verbal commitment from one running back, Las Vegas' Keola Antolin but is still looking for a second runner in the class.
