Cats add an OL

Arizona added another piece to their recruiting puzzle and are clearly not done. They will host a player after signing day and that might not be all.

Arizona received a verbal commitment from Navaro College lineman J'Marcus Webb according to members of the coaching staff. Webb visited Texas Tech over the weekend, but decided to sign with Arizona on Wednesday.

Webb is the seventh offensive lineman to commit to the Cats and the fourth junior college lineman. He originally signed with Texas out of high school but transferred to a JUCO to work on academics.

Expect the Cats to keep pursuing prospects after signing day. Mark Whatley, a safety from Crespi High School, will visit next weekend. Whatley does not hold any offers, but he's got a nose for the ball and very good speed.

The Cats have been in touch with other players, and I get the feeling that there could be a signing day surprise or two.
