Negedu and Snaer visit reports

Although the Arizona basketball team was stunned by ASU over the weekend, all the news was not bad. The Wildcats hosted a number of recruits, including an official visitor from the 2008 class.

Emmanuel Negedu signed with Arizona last fall, but finally got to take his official visit. He got the tough draw of trying to mingle with the team after the hard loss to the Sun Devils.

The big power forward admitted the team was in a bad move after the loss, but was understanding of how they were feeling.

While it may not have been the most high energy visit, Negedu seemed to have a decent time.

"Things went OK," Negedu said. "I just went to the game, got to see a few things around the campus, and tried to enjoy myself as much as possible."

Negedu hinted that he wished that he got to do more things with the team, but said he is perfectly happy with his decision.

There were a handful of unofficial visitors at the game. Michael Snaer, a shooting guard from Moreno Valley, CA came on out. The 2009 player was making an unofficial and liked what he saw.

"I thought the visit went real well," Snaer said.

Although the team lost Snaer loved the game time atmosphere.

"I just took the whole environment in, and got a good idea of what a great college basketball game experience is like," he added.

There were a few in-state players in town as well including Brendan Lavender and Daniel Bejarano.
