Abdul Gaddy remains a must get

As Abdul Gaddy arrives for his official visit to Arizona, it is obvious now more than ever that the Wildcats need him in a bad way.

As Abdul Gaddy arrives for his official visit to Arizona, it is obvious now more than ever that the Wildcats need him in a bad way.

No offense to the Reger Dowells and Keegan Hornbuckles of the world, but Gaddy is on another level. Forget the fact that the UA needs to land him because he really is that good, the Wildcats need to land him to prove that the program still has that "it" factor.

When the better teams in the conference are landing top 25 players and Arizona is offering guys that do not have any offers, let alone Pac-10 offers, people are going to wonder about the state of the program.

In complete honesty, it is hard to blame them. The UA has gone from a program that landed or at least competed for top ten players every year to one in which offering those with good attitudes that want to be Cats is good enough.

The unfortunate fact is that it really is not good enough and that is when Gaddy comes into the picture. Not only would he improve the team immensely, but he changes the landscape of the program.

Gaddy is an absolute must get if the UA wants to continue its success. Spare me the "if he does not want to come, we do not want him" argument because Gaddy is worth it. he is worth every struggle and minute to be had.

If Arizona lands Gaddy he is worth every second because the UA simply cannot afford to lose many recruits like him.
