Arizona head coach Russ Pennell met with media on Monday and talked about being excited for the UCLA game.

"I think sometimes when you play a team like UCLA, who has had not only the recent success but the aura they have had through basketball history, I just think it is important that you don't worry too much about that," he said.

"You have to worry about yourself and that is what we are going to try to do when we go in there, just try to play our game and play it the best we can."

In order to come out of Pauley with a win, Pennell believes the UA is going to have to do everything well.

"The biggest thing we have to do is make sure we have to do a good job of being prepared ourselves and not getting caught up too much in UCLA and USC and the way you do that is prepare to go in there, take care of the basketball, play hard, win the battle on the glass, and the same things it always comes down to," he said.

At the end of the day, Pennell simply wants to see his team play hard and then he feels that the results will follow. ""The thing I want to see us do in Los Angeles is see us compete for the entire two games," he said. "For the 80 minutes I want us compete as hard as we can.

"I don't even want us to necessarily get so caught up in the winning and losing. To me the winning comes when you do things right and when you are executing and playing hard and the whole bit."
