Arizona will be facing UCLA on Thursday in a game that has the Wildcats as heavy underdogs. Here is how we see it breaking down.
PG: As good as Nic Wise has been, Darren Collison is better. He leads the team in scoring, does not miss free throws nor turn the ball over much, and is just in much more control than Wise. Yes, Wise is a good player but Arizona fans would love it if he was more like Collison.
SG: Kyle Fogg has a good chance of slowing down Jrue Holiday. The main reason we feel this is because we assume Holiday is put on Budinger just like he was put on Demar Derozan. Much of Holiday's focus will be on defense, as Fogg needs to take advantage of a slower Shipp on defense.
SF: Chase Budinger tends to struggle against UCLA, but Thursday needs to be different. Holiday will likely be physical with him and Arizona needs to make sure that it does not take him out of the game. Expect plenty of screens for open looks because getting him in a groove is very important to Arizona's success.
PF: Jamelle Horne and Nikola Dragovic has the potential to be a very fun matchup. Horne is obviously more athletic, but both players have been doing well as of late. Dragovic is going to pose problems for Horne with his strength and Horne is going to give Dragovic problems with his athleticism.
C: Jordan Hill is going to get double and maybe triple teamed and it makes sense. Hill needs to still touch the ball as much as possible because if he does not, Arizona is not winning. It really is that simple and it is the obvious storyline to watch on Thursday.
Prediction: UCLA 70, Arizona 55
