When Daniel Hackett went to the line with 1.2 seconds left in the game, Arizona fans knew it was over. The most unfortunate thing, however, may have been how it got to that point.
Momentum switched when Nic Wise was called for an intentional foul on a call that will be questioned for quite some time. Basically, Wise stood up after being knocked down and took Dwight Lewis with him.
The refs seemingly took control of the game in the second half and the fans of both teams were disappointed throughout.
Speaking of Lewis, he scored 21 points and made 10-of-12 free throws. Often times he kept the Trojans in the game with open jump shots because nobody else was stepping up.
Arizona lost out on a chance to win the game when Wise lost the ball at Arizona's end with 3 seconds left.
USC then got the ball to Hackett, who ran up the court near the far sideline, and got fouled by Jamelle Horne.
The loss puts Arizona in a bad situation heading to the Arizona State game and an argument can definitely be made that Wednesday's game is now a must win for the Wildcats.
