On Friday at 11:00am MST at Palo Verde High School, Tucson athlete Adam Hall will announce his commitment to either Arizona, California or Oregon. Where is he going? We break down why he is or isn't going to each school.

Why Adam Hall is going to California:

  • Jeff Tedford is a great coach and runs a very good program.
  • Everyone has assumed he's going to Cal for months.
  • He wants to leave home.

Why Adam Hall isn't going to California:

  • He probably fits in better with the locals in Tucson and Eugene better.
  • Have you seen Cal's quarterbacks?
  • It doesn't make sense to choose Cal over Oregon, on almost any level.

Why Adam Hall is going to Oregon:

  • He is obsessed over this Nike internship thing.
  • It's almost impossible to tell Mike Bellotti no.
  • It seems like he's looking for an excuse to leave Tucson and Eugene could be it.

Why Adam Hall isn't going to Oregon:

  • It's very far from home and it would cost a lot for his family to follow him.
  • The Ducks got into his recruitment late.
  • Maybe he's the one kid who realizes how ugly those uniforms are.

Why Adam Hall is going to Arizona:

  • He's from Tucson and his dad played for the Wildcats.
  • Two words: Sonny Dykes
  • It would take a jerk to have a press conference in your hometown and announce for a conference rival.

Why Adam Hall isn't going to Arizona:

  • He very clearly wants to leave Tucson.
  • He probably isn't as close with his family as some believe.
  • For whatever reason, Arizona can't beat Oregon for anyone.
