Four-star Tucson (Ariz.) Palo Verde athlete Adam Hall chose Arizona on Friday.
At the press conference at his high school, Hall noted that he would stay close to home for the opportunity to play for the Wildcats.
Hall chose the UA over offers from Oregon and Cal, despite rumors that he was headed to Oregon. While those rumors were never strong enough to truly bank on them, there was still a lot of skepticism.
Hall is expected to play safety upon arriving at Arizona and should compete for a starting spot right away.
Wildcatscoop.com will have more on the commitment as it becomes available.
