There are many things Arizona will need to do in order to beat USC and here are the three biggest keys to the game.
1. Keep Budinger going: Chase Budinger is playing the best ball of the season and maybe his career. Arizona continues to rely on him and thus he needs to keep playing well.
If Budinger has an off game, the UA will likely be in trouble. If he has another 20-point or more game, the Trojans are the ones that will be in the trouble.
2. Foul trouble: Taj Gibson has a tendency to get into it, so Arizona needs to go right at him. If Jordan Hill ges the ball early and often, there is a good chance that Gibson is going to see plenty of bench time.
Without Gibson in the game, the lane will be much more open. Arizona should take it to him and see if it can get him in foul trouble sooner than later.
3. Turnovers: SC does not turn over the ball a ton and has plenty of finishers. The Wildcats definitely need to take care of the ball in order to maximize the chances of winning.
When the UA avoids dumb mistakes, it tends to win the game, which seems like an obvious point. However, Arizona is just not good enough to recover from a weak game.
