Here is a breakdown of how we see Arizona and Arizona State matching up on Sunday.
PG: Nic Wise has the big advantage here, especially with the way that he has been playing. He needs to force Derek Glasser into making some mistakes, but he definitely should not be outscored in this matchup.
SG: Ty Abbot is not a very good basketball player right now, but still has the ability to put some points on the board. If he is hitting his shots from behind the arc, the UA is going to have trouble winning. Kyle Fogg needs to score in the double digits and play solid defense and the Wildcats will be just fine.
SF: Zane Johnson is going to have to hit his long range shots, but either way James Harden is a better player. Harden is obviously going to be the focus of Arizona's defense.
PF: Chase Budinger may be the best player in the conference right now and he is going to have to watch out for Kuksiks from behind the arc. If he does, Arizona should have one of its bigger advantages here.
C: Jordan Hill is obviously the best big man in the conference, but Pendy is solid. Still, Arizona needs to run its offense through Hill and then go from there.
