Felton torn between two schools

Robert Felton took his final visit and is now torn between Arkansas and Arizona. The offensive lineman visited the SEC school this past weekend and is now trying to make a decision.

"It's really hard," Robert Felton said. "Both coaches are coming in this week. The Arizona coaches are coming on Tuesday and the Arkansas coaches will be here Wednesday to make their final arguments, so to speak. I'll make a decision after that."

Felton is a 6-4, offensive lineman from Cypress Creek HS in Houston. He's listed as a two-star recruit, but has the size the Wildcats are looking for.

He visited Arkansas this past weekend and had a great time in Fayetteville.

"I had a good trip," Felton said. "Right now I'm leaning towards Arkansas, but of course it's still fresh on my mind. I'm going to take some time to make sure I make the right decision. It's really hard."

Felton likes things about both schools. The Razorbacks' consistency helps their cause.

"Arkansas won the West, they were number two in the SEC," Felton explained. "They are pretty consistent. Arizona is up one year and one year they are down."

He liked the players and support staff at both programs, but knows that can't be the sole reason he chooses a school.

"I liked the people at Arizona a lot," Felton said. "I like the people at Arkansas as well. I liked the coaches at both schools, but you can't pick a school based on just the coaches because you never know how long they are going to be there."

Felton does not know what he wants to study in college and that has made his choice of schools even tougher.

"It might be easier if I knew what I wanted to study, but I'm undecided," said Felton. "It would be easier if I knew what I wanted to study then I could pick a school that offered that major, but I don't. It's a hard decision."

Whichever team lands the big linemen, they know they are getting a player who thought long and hard about where he wanted to go to school.
