Where should Arizona be ranked?

There are definitely questions surrounding the UA, starting with the quarterback situation. Obviously it is hard to win without a consistent quarterback and at this time, Arizona's QB is unknown.

Yes, there is talent at the position. However, analysts wants to see that talent in action, which makes perfect sense.

With that being said, we feel there are enough weapons to make that quarterback transition generally successful. It is hard to fail when you have a loaded backfield, weapon like Rob Gronkowski, and a receiving unit among the best in the nation.

Defensively, Arizona did not lose much. If anything, the defense will likely be better. The defensive line is easily the deepest it has been in years, although end is probably a bit of a concern.

The linebacking unit is going to be extremely strong with depth being the biggest concern. However, the unit is going to be one oft he fastest in the country and the Arizona defense will be able to go sideline to sideline with no issue.

We could go on and on about why the rankings are inaccurate, although there are some questions. However, you look at teams being talked about as improved like Stanford or Arizona State and there is no reason to believe that those teams will be any better than Arizona next season.

Preseason polls in general are a bit meaningless, but they certainly generate some fun discussion. It should be interesting to see just how accurate they are, because you get the feeling that will be decided early in the season.
