6-foot-7, 195-pound La Mirada (Calif.) forward Derrick Williams knew that USC was not the right place for him any more.
Now it seems Arizona is.
After finising his official visit to Arizona, Williams decided that Tucson is where he wants to be.
Although Williams is difficult to reach, sources says that Memphis and Arizona were the two main schools he is looking at. Arizona State, Gonzaga, and a few others were looking to get involved, but going into the visit with Arizona, it looked like a moot point.
Arizona offers early playing time and a bright future, something Williams seemingly could not resist.
Williams fits into Sean Miller's offense very well, as he will be expected to not only succeed with his back to the basket, but on the perimeter as well.
Going into his official visit, Arizona was already in great shape. It looks as if the visit sealed the deal and Williams is the fifth recruit in the 2009 class.
