Wildcatscoop Arizona rankings 19-24

We will be rankings the top 30 prospects in Arizona throughout the week and here is a look at 19-24.

19. Sean Craig: The Salpointe catholic tight end is likely not good enough to play in a major conference, but we like what he should be able to do at the WAC or Mountain West level.

He could stand to improve his speed, but Craig has fantastic hands and runs strong routes. His strength is an asset as well and we definitely think he has a bright future.

20. DeAndre Little: Little has a nasty streak that we love and is a solid, physical linebacker.

He is a deceptive athlete capable of dropping back into coverage and he actually has the type of frame that might lead some schools to consider him at defensive tackle.

21. Kevin Spain: Spain is likely the best signal caller in the state. He can throw on the run and is another deceptive athlete.

We like his arm strength and he reminds us a little of Kevin Yost in the sense that he may not get the recruiting attention he probably deserves.

22. Dwayne Garrett: Garrett is a balanced back that lacks some speed. He is strong out of the backfield, but there are questions surrounding him as to what he would be able to do once he gets out of it.

He is a nice fit for a school looking for a shifty running back that may not have breakaway speed, but does have enough quickness to get an extra yard or two.

23. Tevin Hood: If Hood was bigger, numerous schools would be all over him. Still, we expect him to have a breakout season and be considered one of the better linemen in the state.

Hood has a solid first step and uses his quickness to get off the ball and beat out his opponent. It will be much more difficult to do that on the next level, which is why he has not gotten the recruiting attention.

24. Jacob Ehm: Here is another player that we are projecting will have a breakout year. We admit that it is a bit skeptical as to whether or not he truly belongs here, but his potential is very high.

If he performs well early in the season, expect him to get more recruiting attention, most of which will come at the D-I level.
