It is no secret that no matter what class it is, Sean Miller and company are going to approach big men with high priority.
On Saturday, the approach worked, as 6-foot-8, 220-pound Bronx (St. Raymond) forward Sidiki Johnson informed Arizona of his commitment.
Ranked as the 12th best power forward in his class, Johnson chose Arizona over offers from Pittsburgh, Virginia, St. John's, and others.
The addition of Johnson gives the Wildcats a big time rebounder for the class and should help get things rolling for the coaching staff.
In addition, Johnson is friends with other New York recruits and Johnson coming to Arizona certainly will not hurt Arizona's case.
Johnson is still a bit raw in terms of skills, but has enough potential to give him plenty of attention nationally and lead to an impressive performance throughout the summer.
