Don;t tell Arizona head coach Mike Stoops he should be excited to go to Iowa.
"It wouldn't be my first choice," Stoops said at his press conference. "I didn't say, Let's go play Iowa.' I'd rather have a home game."
Still, Arizona has must take what it has and Stoops knows that Saturday's game will tell a lot about his squad.
"We'll know a lot more about our team Saturday," Stoops said. "We'll have to play a complete game. We're going to have to be a lot better than we were the first two weeks."
While most attention related to the game will be on Mike Stoops' homecoming, he says the game is much more meaningful for the program.
"This is way bigger than me and everything else," Stoops said. "This is about us establishing ourselves against a Big Ten team."
In order to establish the team against Iowa, it seems that Stoops will once again look towards Matt Scott to lead the way.
"I think our quarterback (Scott) is getting more and more comfortable and confident as he plays," Stoops said. "We're solid at that position. I feel good about both those players."
Coverage for this week's game will be presented throughout the week.
