The regular season has not started yet, but Arizona head coach Sean Miller is already seeing improvement.
"I think we're making improvement and I think the improvement is slow and happening incrementally," said Miller.
"I think you'll find some of the things that we're good at because of the talent we have or what we're trying to be good at as a program, but you're going to have to wait to see it down the line."
Miller says that the first exhibition game gave the coaches an understanding of what the team needs to improve on.
"We've worked hard since our Augustana College game," said Miller. "I think one of the good things that you can grasp from an exhibition game is the fact that it's the first time our team can watch themselves on film against another opponent. And the clarity of the mistakes is really out there."
One wya that miller would like to avoid learning lessons by is losing, as there are other ways to improve a team.
"I don't think anyone wants to learn lessons the hard way," explained Miller. "We want to be that group, that team to work hard every day to earn the right to be good. What that means for this team in November and December, we will see."
