It may not have been as close as the Lipscomb game on Monday night.
But it was the same result.
Nic Wise hit a layup with one second remaining, and Arizona defeated North Carolina State 76-74 on Wednesday night.
Arizona held an eight point lead with 37 seconds left but free throws and poor defense let N.C. State right back into the game.
Javier Gonzalez hit a layup to tie it at 74, but Arizona coach Sean Miller chose to let the Wildcats play on and Wise drove the length of the court for his second game winning shot in as many games.
Wise finished with 17 points, but Derrick Williams would have stolen the show if not for the game-winning shot.
Williams finished with 24 and it was apparent throughout the night that he was the best player on the court.
Arizona will stay at home to play BYU on Monday.
Wise does it again
