The 2011 recruiting class is already in full swing considering that Arizona has now added a former four-star receiver to the class.
6-foot-4, 215-pound wide receiver Dan Buckner has transferred from Texas and plans to enroll at Arizona this week.
Buckner has been good for 49 receptions for 529 yards and six touchdowns in 25 appearances.
Coming out of high school, Buckner was considered to be one of the top wide receivers in the country, as evidenced by his 53 catches for 1,012 yards and 17 touchdowns in his senior season at Allen (Texas) High School.
Buckner had some trouble with the law and sources say it truly is not anything too serious. In fact, the transfer was more of a change of scenery than him doing something too terrible to allow him back at Texas.
Buckner will have to sit out a year and will be eligible to play in 2011.
Big-time transfer to Arizona
