Down 14, Arizona needed a spark in the worst way.
Kyle Fogg and Lamont Jones gave it.
Fogg hit seven three pointers and Jones was a force offensively, as Arizona came back from a large deficit to defeat UCLA 78-73 at McKale.
"Kyle was terrific tonight," Arizona head coach Sean Miller said. "Seven of ten from three, three of four from free throws, there was no way we could have won without him. He definitely was playing at an all Pac-10 level, and it's great to see. Momo (Jones) also had a really big game too.
"He had a lot of great moments, making some key threes, getting to the free throw line, and passing. He did a really great job at moving the ball, and that's what we need."
After the game, Miller felt as if this was Arizona's best game of the season.
"I think tonight was really our season's best win," he said. "Not because we beat UCLA, who is a very good team, but because of how we beat them. It's very difficult to come back from being down by 15 in the second half. It takes a group of players all playing with a lot of emotion.
One of the biggest reasons the win is so impressive is how the Wildcats were able to come back despite playing a terrible half.
"We made a lot of big shots, and though we struggled in defense in the first half, there was this eight to ten minute stretch in the second half where I think our defense worked harder than they have all season," Miller said. "In the first half, UCLA was 15 of 25, and in the second they were only 10 of 30. They definitely made a lot better shots in the first half."
Miller made it a point to thank the UA fans for their efforts, as he felt that it played a major role in Arizona's win.
"We practiced very hard this week, and I was proud to see everything in the second half, which was a product of what people don't get to see," Miller said. "Now we have to put this win behind us and get ready for a quick turnaround. Had we lost today, it would have been the toughest loss we've taken all season.
"The crowd was definitely a huge emotional factor for us. We were a 14 and 14 team, but with they way they were cheering tonight, it was like we were 25 and 4 and playing for the conference title. I can't thank the crowd enough for the energy they bring. Now, I just want to say that everyone needs to get to bed early, and come out on Saturday. Either get up early or don't go to sleep at all. Come out at eleven on Saturday and give us the same environment for our last home game against USC."
