The last four contests at Maples have been settled by a total of 13 points. The Cats are now 16-14 in Palo Alto.

The teams combined for 17 total turnovers, with Arizona committing just seven. Arizona lost the ball just once in the pivotal second half.
Justin Davis was just 4-10 from the free throw line. The rest of the team was 15-18.

The win gives the UA a fourth consecutive Bay Area sweep and their 10th conference title.

On three occasions the referees had to look at instant replays to make a correct call. Twice they used it to figure out who the correct foul shooter should be and once they used it to adjust the clock.
Each of last five games in the series have been won by the road team. The Cats have won five of the last eight against the Cardinal.

The win put Lute Olson solely in second place overall for the number of Pac-10 wins. Olson has 277, one more than Oregon State's Slats Gill. Only John Wooden has more wins.
The Cats finished the conference season 9-0 on the road in Pac-10 play and lost just once overall on the road this season - to LSU.

Stanford had a nine game win streak at home. Thursday night the Wildcats snapped Cal's home win streak at 17.
AGAINST NO. 1
The Cats are the first No. 1 team to play at Maples since UConn came to Palo Alto. The Huskies handed the Cardinal a 70-59 loss. Arizona was the top-ranked team when Stanford beat them 82-74 on Feb. 4, 1988. Overall Stanford is 3-25 against No. 1 ranked teams, including the win earlier this year against the Wildcats.
MILESTONE PT. 3
Julius Barnes passed Dion Cross for most single-season three-point attempts (188) in Stanford history. Cross had 187 in 1995-96.
