After much debate and excitement, the conference expansion will end with Utah.
The Pac-10, specifically Larry Scott, has announced a press conference for Thursday to announce the move.
The divisions are still not public, although there have been reports that it would be Utah, Arizona, Colorado, UCLA, USC, and Arizona State.
The move ends a furious week or so in which it seemed at one point the conference would expand to 16 schools, some of which were the best in the country.
While Scott is set to face some criticism, this could wind up being the safest move.
We will have more on the situation on Thursday.
