It is no secret that Arizona is looking for a big man in the 2012 class and sources say 6-foot-11 Fresno (Calif.) Edison center Robert Upshaw is emerging as a serious target.
As Greg Hicks writes from yesterday's performance, "Although he was playing against weak competition Tuesday night, Upshaw was still very impressive. He scored around the basket, blocked shots and showed a very nice touch out to the three-point line. One of the more improved players in the 2012 class and a potential elite prospect nationally."
Sources says Arizona agrees and should the coaching staff see another solid performance or two you can expect him to be a major target.
The Arizona coaching staff is watching mostly underclassmen, and Upshaw as emerged in a big way.
Stay tuned to Wildcatscoop for updates on Upshaw's recruitment.
