Recruiting update

With the Vegas tournaments going on, here is a look at where some players are leaning.

With the Vegas tournaments going on, here is a look at where some players are leaning.

Jahii Carson: Carson has recently named UCLA his leader, which is interesting to say the least.

In all honesty, signs point to Carson having a little fun with the process, but crazier things have happened.

Carson is not shy to name any new leaders, so you have to figure this recruitment has a ways to go.

Norman Powell: Powell is down to Arizona and UCLA, unless you truly believe SDSU is a player.

All signs point to Powell being a Bruin, but it will be interesting to see if Johnson or Carson decide to go elsewhere before him.

If they do, expect the UA to make a major push at Powell figuring he is not headed to UCLA yet.

Shabazz Muhammad: Muhammad is still likely heading to Kansas, but a ton of schools are putting their best efforts in.

Memphis is making a huge push and Kentucky, Duke, and UNC will be major players.

Arizona is involved in this, but it is going to be a major uphill battle.

Anrio Adams: Adams has a top three of Arizona, Louisville, and Texas.

Jason Terry being from Washington could play a bigger role than people think, but the Peyton Siva connection with Louisville means something as well.

Nick Johnson: Johnson has Arizona as his leader and that is where we feel he will end up.

It is definitely not over by any means, but the fact that he named UA as a leader is not a surprise to anyone.
