There won't be any more Kadeem Jack references any time soon.
In fact, there won't be any references of any big men in 2011 not named Sidiki Johnson.
Arizona has closed its recruiting process to guards and the Wildcats are focusing on two out of four that have emerged as major prospects.
Jahii Carson: Carson looks like he is going to take a while to decide, which is both good and bad.
It is good because, at the end of the day, Nick Johnson is the most important piece of the class.
It is bad because of the doomsday scenario where somehow the UA does not get either.
Nick Johnson: Arizona is Johnson's heavy favorite and the Wildcats seem to be in the drivers seat.
Johnson can play both guard positions and there is a solid reason he is the top priority in the class right now.
Quinn Cook: We really like Cook, but feel like he is going to play out the process as much as he can.
He barely names the schools recruiting him the hardest let alone the ones he favors.
The word is Duke is probably the favorite, but UA is recruiting him harder than anyone right now.
Josiah Turner: This is an Arizona-Kansas battle with the Jayhawks probably leading.
Landing Johnson would help here and if the UA does not do so, it probably does not land him.
Guards or bust
