Hugh Freeze has made recruiting the state of Georgia a bigger priority for the Red Wolves. Go "Inside" and see what North Cobb Safety Martez Hester had to say about Arkansas State and his interest in the Red Wolves.

Arkansas State University is recruiting this summer and fall unlike the Red Wolves have ever recruited before.

With four commitments already for the recruiting Class of 2012, first year head coach Hugh Freeze has definitely amped up ASU's recruiting.

Freeze and his coaching staff is recruiting Georgia with a new vigor and passion and it appears to be paying off.

ASU was the first to offer North Cobb safety Martez Hester, since that first offer Hester has picked up other offers from Ohio, UAB, Air Force and UMass.

Hester, a 6-foot-3, 189-pound safety who runs a 4.51 forty, confirmed with AStateNation.com that he definitely has interest in what the Red Wolves have to offer.

"I'm trying to get there for a visit," Hester said. "I plan on taking an unofficial visit and a official visit to Arkansas State."

Hester recently took unofficial visits to Ohio and Ball State.

"Both schools are pretty good, the Ohio campus was a lot closer together than Ball State," Hester said. "It was good to get to see both of those."

Hester plans on making a decision closer to the start of his senior season.

"I plan on taking my official visits as early as possible," Hester said. "Hopefully I can make a decision in the middle or beginning of my senior year. I don't want to wait until January or February."

Tom Allen is recruiting Hester for Arkansas State.

"I call and talk to Coach Allen a lot," Hester said. "He is a really cool coach. He really loves their defense that they play there. He feels I would be a great fit there."
