Recruiting is all about building relationships and making impressions on prospects.
Arkansas State University Football team appears to be doing a good job at both of these things.
AStateNation.com caught up with Foster later Saturday evening to get his thoughts on his recent visit to ASU.
"It was great," Foster said. "I like it a lot."
In fact Foster admitted that Arkansas State is currently his early favorite.
"Arkansas State is at the top of my list right now," Foster said. "I got a chance to meet their players, got a chance to see the campus and got to know their coaching staff a lot better."
Foster also admits that his trip to Jonesboro was better than he expected it to be.
"It was a nice clean place," Foster said. "It's really a bigger campus than I expected it to be."
It appears that Foster's father Ricky Sr. was also impressed with the visit.
"My dad really likes Arkansas State a lot," Foster Jr. said. "It's not too far from Memphis and it's in a great community."
Foster is being recruited by Arkansas State's recruiting coordinator Maurice Harris for the Red Wolves.
"I like Coach Harris a lot," Foster said. "Both he and Coach Freeze have both coached in Memphis and they are recruiting the city a lot."
Foster can see himself going to school in Jonesboro.
"It's very nice there, It's making me think about going to school there," Foster said. "I really feel at home there."
Foster plans on waiting until after his senior season before making a final decision.
