Arkansas State Basketball program had a few official visitors two weekends ago for the Memphis vs ASU Football weekend.

One of those visitors was Hunter Harris from Volunteer Junior College.

AStateNation.com caught up with Harris recently to get his thoughts on his official visit.

"It was awesome," Harris said. "The atmosphere was great, the fan base really supports their teams."

Harris, who is being recruited by Coach Melvin Haralson, was impressed with Coach Haralson and Coach John Brady.

"I like Coach Brady a lot, he seems like a good guy," Harris said. "Coach Haralson is really cool, he is up front with you and shoots things straight with you."

Harris, a 6-foot-7, athlete is being recruited to play the three position.

How does ASU stack up with Harris?

"I like Arkansas State more than any other school right now," Harris said. "They are definitely my favorite."

He is currently being recruited by Marquette, WSU, MTSU, Tennessee State, and Arkansas State.

According to Harris he is uncertain when he will make his decision.
