ASN Question: This is the first year ever in school history that Hugh Freeze, a first year head coach has won seven game in his first season. Give us your thoughts on what he has accomplished.

Dr. Dean Lee's Answer: We are extremely excited about the enthusiasm and excitement that he has brought to our program from day one. We are thrilled to have him as our head coach.

ASN Question: With the seventh win is there any bonuses that Coach Freeze has reached?

Dr. Dean Lee's Answer: By winning seven games, it's in his contract that he gets an automatic one year role over on his contract.

ASN Question: Is there any money involved with that seven win bonus?

Dr. Dean Lee's Answer: No just a one year roll over.

ASN Question: Have there been discussions about a contract extension and possible raise for Coach Freeze?

Dr. Dean Lee's Answer: He is definitely aware of how proud and appreciative we are on what he has accomplished and how proud we are that he is our coach. There has been some dialogue but we don't want any distractions from finishing this season off strong. We will discuss all other things at the end of the season.

ASN Question: Did you expect this much success this early in your football program?

Dr. Dean Lee's Answer: Can't say we did to this degree. We knew there were a lot of things in place for success. A lot of returners coming back and the schedule was more conducive for being successful. Our entire athletic and school administration is very pleased and proud of the success so far, we want to finish it off with a few more wins. We are very proud of the way our fans have stepped up and bought into our program.
