Arkansas State had their first two official visitors on campus this past weekend for the Louisiana Lafayette football game.
"I liked the campus a lot," Walker told AStateNation.com Monday evening. "The game was very exciting, I enjoyed how the fans got into the game."
Walker, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete who runs a 4.5 forty, played high school football in Hillsboro, Texas.
Walker was impressed with the ASU coaching staff.
"I like all of the coaches a lot," Walker admitted. "Coach (Hugh) Freeze is a pretty cool dude. His team loves playing for him."
According to Walker, the Red Wolf coaching staff is very interested in the talented athlete.
"They think I could come in and fit in their offensive system right away," Walker said. "ASU was a lot better than I expected it to be. Jonesboro is a lot bigger than I thought."
Walker will have two years to play two.
According to Walker, his teammate Holloway had a great visit also.
"He liked it a lot also," Walker said. "He liked hanging out with the current team, getting to know them, he seemed to really enjoy himself.
AStateNation.com will continue to attempt to reach Holloway in the near future for more details on his official visit.
