Hugh Freeze and his coaching staff picked up commitment No. 16 Sunday evening when a Memphis wide receiver made the decision to be a Red Wolf.

Brighton's Tennessee's Ricky Foster took an unofficial visit to Jonesboro on Sunday and gave Freeze and coaches the good news in person.

"I really like everything about Arkansas State," Foster told AStateNation.com. "The coaches really care about me as a person and not just a football player. I love how it feels like a family here, it feels like home to me."

Foster, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound wide receiver, is known for his speed and is being recruited to play wide out for the Red Wolves offense.

Foster has also been very impressed with ASU Head Coach Hugh Freeze.

"He is a good guy," Foster said. "Very upfront, he cares about his players."

Freeze apparently was pleased with Foster's decision.

"He was very happy," Foster said. "He seemed like he already knew that I was going to commit. He is very excitable."
