Growing up a coaches son can have its advantages.

For Minnesota lineman Karmichael Dunbar, the son of Minnesota Viking Coach Karl Dunbar, he is taking what he learns from his dad and plans on using it to help him get to the next level.

Dunbar, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman, recently picked up another offer from the Sun Belt to go along with his offer from the Conference Champions Arkansas State.

"ULL recently offered me," Dunbar told AStateNation.com. "Arkansas State called me after their coaching change and told me my offer was still good. Coach (Gus) Malzahn is very well known in college football."

Dunbar has definite plans on taking an official visit to both Arkansas State and ULL.

"Yes sir I will definitely take an official visit to Arkansas State and to ULL, both schools have offered me," Dunbar said. "I look forward to getting to know more about each school. I know that Arkansas State dominated the conference this season, going undefeated in league play."

Dunbar has checked out Arkansas State on the internet. "I have done some research about the school and campus," Dunbar said. "I could see myself going there because from what the coach told me—he said I could truly dominate."
