For one Memphis athlete it doesn't matter how many scholarship offers he has and from what colleges.
Memphis East's Christian Morris made it quite clear that he is very open to all the schools recruiting him.
AStateNation.com recently caught up with Morris to get his take on Gus Malzahn and the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
"Coach Malzahn and his staff is recruiting me very hard," Morris said. "I like Arkansas State a lot. Coach Malzahn knows how to a win a National Championship and he is building something special at ASU."
Morris is also impressed with his recruiting coach Kenny Ingram. Ingram, a former ASU Red Wolf himself and a Memphis native, appears to relate to prospects in the city he grew up in.
"Coach Ingram is great," Morris said. "He is from Memphis and he played at Arkansas State, you can tell he really loves the school and believes in it."
Morris hasn't made a trip to Jonesboro yet, but plans on doing just that in the near future.
"They want me come up and check everything out," Morris said. "Arkansas State isn't giving up on my despite me having a lot of offers. I like that, they aren't afraid to recruit against any team."
Morris, is a 6-foot-6, 285 pound offensive tackle, who is currently rated by Scout.com as a four star prospect and ranked as the No. 26 offensive tackle in the nation.
