Arkansas State's Head Coach Gus Malzahn and his coaching staff appears to be hitting the Magnolia State hard in recruiting for their class of 2013.
While the Red Wolves haven't picked up a commitment so far from the state of Mississippi, that hasn't stopped ASU from offering several of its state's top prospects.
AStateNation.com caught up with Noxubee County defensive lineman Dylan Bradley to get his take on the recruiting process.
"It's going great," Bradley said. "I'm enjoying the recruiting process and taking it step by step."
Bradley was exceptionally pleased when he received an offer from the new Arkansas State Head Football Coach and former Auburn offensive coordinator.
"I wasn't expecting an offer from Coach Malzahn," Bradley said. "It put a smile on my face. Didn't really expect it because they didn't get to see me workout this spring because of an injury."
Bradley had planned on attending a camp earlier this summer at Arkansas State but was unable to make it.
Arkansas State Recruiting Coordinator Casey Woods is in charge of Bradley's recruitment.
"Coach Woods is telling me that he can't wait to see me on the field this fall," Bradley said. "According to Coach Woods told me that they have a good football program and that they are trying to get good football players like myself to come play for them."
Does Bradley have an early favorite?
"No not at all," Bradley said. "I have really been thinking about recruiting a lot. My focus is going to be on having a great senior season and getting to Jackson to win a state championship."
