It finally came Sunday afternoon when he made a call to Arkansas State coach Bryan Harsin.
"Coach Tucker came down and watched me play against McNeil and we talked again on Saturday and he started following me on Twitter. He told me to call coach Harsin on Sunday and he offered me.
"I had been expecting it. Coach Tucker has stayed with me since the summer. He just told me to be patience. I am real excited. It has been a long time coming."
For the season, Dilosa has caught 40 passes for more than 600 yards and five touchdowns. Last week against Hendrickson he had a 63-yard score. In the game vs. McNeil when Tucker was in town, he caught 8 passes for 116 yards and had an 89-yard kickoff return.
Last season Dilosa earned second team all-distrcit for Round Rock, which plays in Texas' largest classification. He is also a member of the school's basketball team. He is from Gary, Ind., and moved to south Texas when he was a freshman.
"I like Arkansas State a lot," he said. "I saw them play on TV against Auburn. They wanted me to come up to camp last summer but I could not make it. But I have been in contact with them ever since."
He said he has offers from New Mexico, Houston, Incarnate Word and Montana State and plans visits to Houston, UNM and A-State.
"After I have visited everywhere I will sit down with my family and make a decision."
As soon as word spread of his offer, ASU commit Micah Thomas of Cedar Park (Texas) Vista Ridge started recruiting Dilosa for the Red Wolves.
"Yeah we talked, a lot texting,"' he said. "He told me he really liked it up there."
Dilosa has not been on campus yet.
